Good things –> I can wear a variety of clothes.
Bad things –> If there is any, I can not change my hair style freely, but I like long hair so it is not so hard for me. I had shoulder length short hair when I was in kindergarten and in the first grade, but that was it.

Q29 What changed about you compared to when you debuted?
I became mature. I got to think about my job and got more interested in learning music. But basically, I am a ‘It will be OK’ kind of person. I also enjoy the dark side of me.

Q30 What would you do if you had a month off?
I would like to stay in Iceland. I fell in love with the mud spouting hot spring, when a person I know showed me a picture of it.

Q31 What if you won a lottery of 100 million yen?
I would buy a luxury apartment. Travel. But it would be more fun if you save money little by little. I save 500-yen coins, and it makes me happy when I put a coin into a red piggy bank.

Q32 If you are to be born again, do you want to be a man or woman?
I have already learned the fun of being a woman (!?), so I want to experience the laziness of a man. Like, having your hair untidy and going out without caring about what to wear.

Q33 What if one of your wishes came true?
I would wish for a sense of taste that makes vegetables tasty (laugh).

Q34 Introduce your family!
My father has mustache, so he is Mario. My mother is a friend with whom I talk a lot. My three-years-older brother is … one of others (laugh).

Q35 Say a word to your managers!
He says “I like you very much.” to everyone in the office. I am grateful to his warm heart.

Q36 You might want to have a boyfriend. What is your favorite type of man?

I want him to be 15cm (6 inches) taller than I, taller than 175cm (5 feet 8 inches). About the age, I would be alright with up to 10 years older. I like a man who has a mysterious atmosphere that makes you wonder what he is thinking about, just like Motoo Fujiwara of BUMP OF CHICKEN (laugh). I like a one-sided love affair, so I would be happy just looking at that kind of man.

Q37 Who is your favorite celebrity?
Fujiwara-san  is special. Namie Amuro, Ryouko Shinohara, Joe Odagiri, Kenichi Matsuyama (when he is playing L[3]), Ryou Kato.

Q38 What food do you want to cook for a man you like?

Hamburg steak. When I made it before, it was so good that I couldn’t believe I actually cooked it myself.

Q39 What kind of words a man says makes you happy?

“You are beautiful.” You wouldn’t say those words easily. “You are cute.” is easy to say and it would sound like a compliment, so …

Q40 How old were you when you had a first love? And what is your memory of it?

When I was in the second grade. His name was Koudai. He was the hardest working student in my class, and he was studying hard, like the child in the drama ‘Edison’s Mother’. He was so cute. I didn’t confess my love to him, and I didn’t have any feelings that he was my boyfriend, but I was happy just being with him.

Q41 What is your ideal way of going on a date?
A kind of date in which you spend time leisurely, each of us taking photographs of favorite things. I am a kind of person who doesn’t need conversations. I am totally fine with being silent. Oh, but I like to hear people talking.

Q42 At about what age do you want to get married?
At 26. I like the roundness of the number 26 when you write it, and it is also a double of 13 (laugh).

Q43 What is your ideal word for marriage proposal?
If he said “Please marry me!”, that would be a little … I don’t like an aggressive man, so (bitter smile). I wouldn’t need a cool word, so like, after living together for some time, “It is about time, isn’t it?”, something like that.

Q44 What is your ideal wedding?
I have never even attended my friends’ weddings yet. I have never thought about an ideal wedding. Maybe at a church?

Q45 How many children do you want to have? And their names?
One or two. I don’t care about whether it is a girl or a boy, unless I have two boys. If it is a boy, I would like his name to be Kazuya (和也). I like the sound of the name.

Q46 Who do you want to be like in the show business?
If you are talking about “the show business”, I am not sure, but, as a person, I would like to be like Mari Natsuki. She is cool.

Q47 Give a message to yourself ten years from now!

Ten years from now … I will be 30!? Wow, I will be old (laugh). Let’s do many bad things!? Life will not be fun if you don’t do bad things! But not to the extent you get arrested (laugh).

Q48 What is your (personal) goal for the future?

I want to be more womanly, maybe. I will be 20 this year, so it’s like you can’t be just cute anymore. Personally, I want to publish a photoalbum (of pictures I took myself). As to Perfume, I want to participate in WIRE (techno fes).

Q49 Give a message to those who support you!
Thank you for supporting a person like me. I will work hard from now on as always, so please don’t leave me.

Q50 Tell us how you feel after finishing the cover photograph shoot & interview!
I talked a lot (laugh). I had fun during the photographing, because I could wear many patterns of costumes. I had had few experiences of gravure photo shoots, so it was a refreshing and fun feeling.

Perfume - Secret Secret

I was listening to this just recently laying in bed, so relaxing.
